My plan was to cut a good roof off an old truck below the seam. Once that s done i was thinking you could turn it over and grind off the spot welds and remove the scap sheet metal to make a nice clean seam that ll match up well with the original cab. This will give you a roof with the bracing ribs stamped in and will be much easier to weld on.
